Teriyaki salmon with garlic and ginger

This is a delicious healthy dish and it takes no time to cook. This was the first time I cooked salmon without skin and I enjoyed the taste immensely, it is less oily / fatty.

Ingredients
Skinless salmon fillet

Garlic - mince
Ginger - mince

Teriyaki sauce - kikkoman
half a teaspoon of sugar

Oil

Cooking method
Marinate the salmon with the teriyaki sauce. If you have time, put the salmon in the fridge for at least one hour. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat, cook the salmon on one side until it is cooked half way. Turn to cook the other side until the whole salmon is cooked. Put salmon on the serving plate.

To make the garlic ginger sauce, heat a splash of oil in a small sauce pan on low heat, cook the mixture of minced garlic and ginger until it is fragrant. Add splashes of kikkoman, stir well, let the soy sauce boil, add sugar, and mix well. Pour the hot sauce on top of the salmon.

Serve with rice and simple chinese vegetable.
